Lansdowne…route from Ghaziabad…Is it possible to cover it over a weekend?

Someone has directions from Ghaziabad/Delhi to Lansdowne. I am planning to go there over a weekend but have no clear idea of the route and the accomodations and places to visit there. Any help pls

    Lansdowne is a nice sleepy town ideal for romantic couples or minds seeking some peace… I have been there twice once on bike and once in car…though biking is more enjoyable but depends on the mausam.

    The following is the route i took from
    Delhi to Meerut to Bijnore to Najibabad to Kothdwar to Lansdowne
    Distance is appx 270 kms.

    I would recommend you go there on a long wknd … 2days would be somewhat hectic

    Holiday Cafe ‘Tif in Top’ lansdowne..
    it was a nice place of stay in lansdowne…its an undertaking by Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN), Uttarakhand

    There are a few private hotels and lodges in addition to Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam’s tourist bungalow. Besides this, there is a PWD inspection bungalow, Army Welfare Board Rest House and Uttaranchal Forest Department base camp where you can stay with prior arrangement.
