Planning for Leh in April 2012 : Group of students
Hi Folks -
I along with my MBA classmates are planning for a trip to Leh in April end, we have 6 days in hand and have to visit as many places around as possible. Please let us know what all places can be visited and if 6 days is a sufficient time for visiting leh and around areas
Its already Jan end so we have little time in hand to do all the bookings and get stuff ready, also how cold would it be?
Is khardungla doable at that time?

There is so much to explore in and around Ladakh. It would be better if you extend your stay otherwise here is the suggested itinerary for 06 days:
Day 01: Arrive Leh
Day 02: Leh To Uleytokpo-
Day 03: Uleytokpo – Leh
Day 04: Leh To Pangong Lake
Day 05: Pangong Lake To Leh
Day 06: Leh (Excursion To Khardungla Top – 18,390 Ft.)
Day 07: Depart Leh
Yes, you can visit Khardung La as it is situated 39 km by road from Leh. It would be around 20-30 degree.

I am planning to visit too around the same time. But i wonder wont the roads be blocked with snow to explore the area you have mentioned in the itenary above ??
